Our first game with the national team of Saudi Arabia where we have obtained a creditable goalless draw in the attacking half. In the last two clashes had suffered two defeats with that election and that we were facing a tough game where you had to overcome the psychological factor. The team first used a 4-3-3 with young ambitious players and was very close to winning the match with numerous scoring chances including a shot to stick. National Team of Saudi Arabia
In early July Frank Rijkaard was appointed new coach of Saudi Arabia and I joined him as a staff coach of the office with Coach 2nd. It's a new challenge we have accepted with great enthusiasm and in my case, being a national team is a challenge even greater and more responsibility. Our goal is to qualify for the finals of the 2014 World Cup and help the team get the best result Arabia possible.
