    Albert Good,
wanted to ask which is the weekly volume per session and recommended that we use in training actions sprint complex as ballast or the like, from my point of view I think it would be interesting to know the details you can provide the GPS so we would have an approximation ¿ but think it would be interesting to work a week lower volume than the competition or conversely greater volume? what volume would work if you have GPS technology?
greetings and thank you very much

  3. Albert says:

    HI MANU,

IF YOU HAVE A MUCH BETTER BECAUSE GPS CAN ASSESS ANY SPRINT WITH MORE ACCURACY OR EXPLOSIVE MOTION (LOAD BODY) THAT MAKE THE PLAYER, BUT YOU HAVE analyze it DIRECTLY OR THROUGH VIDEO (... MUCH WORK).

WELL LOOKS LIKE ME WHETHER THE METHOD OF WEIGHTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FORCE OR SPEED FAST (ACCELERATION) PERSONALLY I THINK ALL SHOULD BE GENERAL ASSIGNMENT WITHIN THE PREPARATORY PERIOD OR PERIOD OF TIMES VERY COMPETITIVE POINT ... BUT I AM OF THE OPINION THAT THE BEST WAY SUCH WORK MUST BE MENTIONED QUALITIES ALWAYS WORK WITH CHARACTER espcial AND COMPETITIVE ASPECTS RELATED TO CONDITIONAL, volitional ASPECTS, THE EMOTIONAL, OR THE interrelation-SOCIAL SITUATIONS AND OBVIOUSLY YOUR TECHNICAL SOCCER TACTICS THAT IS SERVING ... CHARACTERISTICS OF AN INTEGRATED METHODOLOGY.

VOLUME AND NATURE OF THE CHARGE WILL COME AS DETERMINED BY FACTORS SUCH AS THE GROUP TO WORK WITH, THE TIME OF microcycle, THE PERIOD OF THE SEASON, THE FITNESS OF PLAYERS (EACH PLAYER OR IF YOU CAN), ETC ....

I AM AT YOUR DISPOSAL FOR ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS

    A SALUTE

hello albert - this is onder and i live in turkey. ı Studied Exercise Science and Fitness and athletic training in the U.S.. I Came back to turkey about 4 years ago. now I am Working with a pro football team in turkey, Antalyaspor. I would love to talk with you and exchange info.

  6. Hi Albert is a pleasure and an honor to speak at a distance to communicate with you. I'm currently technical advisor in Latin America, was in Venezuela with a team of First Division (Union Atletico Maracaibo, where I went to create the youth divisions) and now I'm going to Mexico, I have some forums in various countries on the formation of in the youth soccer player. (www.mundialinfantil.com, and also http://mundialito.mundialinfantil.com ) I would like your comments on the work at the level of youth soccer in the process of the sub 15 to sub 20. Also I am working with a project on the day after the player a topic that few former players speak. It would be an honor if you could participate in this topic. Hopefully you can give me some feedback. Hug from Uruguay.

  7. Albert says:

Hi Gonzalo, I appreciate your kind words.

First of all congratulations for taking your time the youth sector as it is a crucial stage of the player for further development. I wish I had a long conversation with you because you could sure give me a lot more advice on these issues than I can give you! My area is the professionalism and if you read a bit of my working methodology tend increasingly to the tactical periodization in which these aspects (the tactics) are the foundation of training. However, although always privilege the cognitive and decision-making (global methodology) in the formation of player I think there are stages in the same suggesting accentuate and develop the conditional aspects (physical training) to thus obtain the maximum potential and better complement the technical and tactical.

  8. ALBERT THANKS FOR THE ANSWER. We are honored to share knowledge and experience. HOPEFULLY WE CAN TALK THROUGH OUR POST. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MUCH IS THE UNIFIED PROCESS IF YOU ARE FROM THE CATEGORIES OF BASE TO THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID OF PROFESSIONALISM. MUST BE A LONG-TERM PROCESS INTEGRATOR AND I SUPPOSE IN CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR TEAM. IF HE APPLIED FOR UPDATED METHODOLOGIES DEEP PLAYER THAT SUPPORTS THIS FULLY PREPARED WITH MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM TO REACH THE ELITE SOCCER. SO I SUPPOSE YOU WILL NOT ABOUT SOME COORDINATION? I HOPE WE CAN TALK MORE DEEPLY AND ONE DAY HAVE YOU GIVE THAT SOME FORUMS FOR LATIN AMERICA ON SOCCER TRAINING AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ELITE SOCCER. OUR WORK IS KEY TO BE CREATED QUARRY (I BELIEVE YOU DID THAT WORK IN GREAT SHAPE IN THE BOAT) AND THE CLUB CAPITALIZE.

    Hi Albert Roca

First, congratulations on what you have achieved and're getting as coach. It is the second time I read your paper on "the process of training in football" and the truth is that I feel very good.

I graduated from the quasi-FCAFD, I have been doing work experience in a team of 2 º B and am now a National Youth. My goal is to reach the highest, always with honesty and humility, so much needed in our profession.

Caught my attention that you are a specialist in sports psychology and include in the objectives of microcycle socio-emotional, volitional and creative-expressive, and I am very interested in it and I would follow your steps in this direction.

Is it possible to do proper planning taking into account these aspects to achieve a specific goal? Can you measure the lack of these issues or the need to reinforce them and include them in technical and tactical tasks as planned?

In the integrated methodology based parts of the former is the technique and tactics and this is fed by the conditional capacities and psychological skills and visual.
I in my quest to integrate psychology in football, I usually say that there are 4 major intrinsic aspects: technical, tactical, physical and psychological. Am I wrong?
Does the visual ability is not a conditional capacity directly influences the speed of the game?

Finally, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I think in this life to receive, give, and more if it is altruistic.

Good luck for Saturday and the accompanying results!

    Hi Albert.

Before you talk to you about my situation, congratulate you. I hope that someday, with hard work, get the 1/8 of what you have accomplished.
I let you know that physical trainer in the category fry. The question that I find as a PF in a category so low I do not like, because at this age do not require it, but have to pracicas for faculty. The point is that at this age they require is much ball, that is, technical-tactical work individually and collectively, and above all coordinative work, not job specific strength and endurance. I'm trying to do with them once a week a coordinative work for example with the ladder. For me, I think this kind of work is ideal at this age (11-12 years), but what kind of progression could go on throughout the season. Tell you only have 2 days a week and coordinative work I usually do in the 30 'early warming on Tuesday, then we single technical skill, technique and match to end collective and Tuesdays I like warm, personal technical skill as conduits, passing, dribbling, then continue with collective technical, some tactical and match.
I wish that I also, recommend or corrigieras as this raised the planning at this age.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  12. Albert says:

    Hello Jose Maria

First of all tell you that I value the people in the grassroots. My best memories I have of a team the child (the Peña Blaugrana de Sants) ... we all started there!

I'll be honest ... I think that only having two days of training you should focus almost "exclusively" in the game. The overall methodology is one that should prevail in all the sessions you make. I suggest you read books by Horst Wein and Sans / Fratarolla (his book is titled "football training base" Paidotribo I think ...) because of them you will learn a lot!

I must admit that I made many mistakes in that time, performing workouts too analytical and "wasting" time in physical and technical exercises whose value was questionable ... We must return to the game of street football where the child is playing match after game, hours and hours ... it's the only way not to hinder their development!

  13. Haro Diego says:

    Hi Albert

I am writing from Uruguay and I tell you that less than a year since I graduated and I'm starting my second year as athletic trainer for the 4th and 5th division of a team of my country. I'm putting the preseason and me several questions arise why I write. The main difficulty I find is that I have almost 60 players and I have no partner to carry out training. How do you think should work to achieve maximum performance of the two campuses? The other question is whether you you got a test of choice for control players' aerobic capacity. Thank you very much for the opportunity to write and hopefully you can answer. Hug

  14. Albert says:

    Hello Diego

The truth is that you have a challenge ahead for train with so many players should not be easy! It is clear that the planning and organization will be key to the smooth running of the sessions. I do not know which methodology you are using but if you follow a traditional type of fitness I would be inclined to employ a style of "Task Assignment" where players could divide into several groups and they knew beforehand all the work to be done. The "circuits" are also a clear example to have good control but if you employ should take into account the objective they are intended and the time of the preseason, that is, at first you can make circuits to improve the resistance force (also called Force-Resistance) without the ball and then gradually add the technical component for the years to increase motivation. It would also be desirable for dynamic type exercises with a variety of movements (jumping, torn, changes of direction and meaning, etc). You can add, as I guess you do, some alternative exercise bosu balance (the so-called proprioception) to improve and prevent muscle injuries and / or joints.

  15. António Henriques says:

    Albert Boas,

escrevi not blog poucos teu minutes na part two contacts on OMEGAWAVE and agora do coisa curious uma li na escreveste resposta Diego Haro previous year ... "You can add, as I guess you do, some alternative exercise bosu balance (the bad called proprioception) to improve and prevent muscle injuries and / or joints. "
Uma once all week as proprioceptive exercises for prevençao fazemos of lesoes (several forms) fiquei funny because dizes chamada propriocepção bad?

  16. Albert says:

    Oi Antonio, Tudu bem?

There is a Fort Azahar dissertation at the University Ramon Llull in Barcelona questioning the term proprioception exercises that many trainers do as prevention for injuries. This thesis presents the controversy of the classified terms. If you have occasion to read the thesis (it is also written in Spanish) you'll see that prefers to speak of the term autrora neuromuscular training and describes the different methods for improvement.

    A greeting

  17. Albert says:

    Hi Pilar

If you do not know football or not but in my case I prefer to use a blog to expose my resume and "selling image" and I have many industry colleagues who are doing the same ... remember that a picture is worth a thousand words a good web reaches the world. I would advise that if you do think the world of sports and insert your own blog with your resume all the photos, clippings and videos be sure that it will help you promote yourself better.

Only by way of anecdote you tell in this my last job I was asked to send the resume and I just sent them the address of my blog ... I liked it! that simple.

    Luck and Best wishes
